We hosted Hardy's 1st Birthday Party yesterday, and I CANNOT BELIEVE my baby boy is almost one!!! Hardy will officially be O-N-E on June 3rd, but we had to host his party a week early since we are leaving for Jackson Hole in a few days. Sometime before Hardy was born I developed a liking for giraffes that has now become a full blown obsession. I think I knew when he was a few months old that I wanted the theme of his 1st birthday to be giraffes. Thanks to Pinterest I was able to gather many ideas, and Hardy's giraffe party ended up being quite a success!
I took lots of pictures (probably more than you care to look at), but I wanted to make sure I captured all the details of the day! As you will see, Hardy had an absolute blast at his party! He rather enjoyed being the celebrity for a couple of hours. When everyone started to sing "Happy Birthday" to him, he looked around the room taking it all in. It filled my heart with joy just to watch my little boy enjoy a day that was all about him! Thanks to all of our family and friends that joined us to celebrate our precious Lil Hardy! Many of you prayed for us and with us that God would grant us this child, and now he is about to be one! Our God certainly does immeasurably more than we could ask for or imagine!
