I have been waiting several weeks now to share this news with you (no, I'm not pregnant - just thought I would go ahead and put that out there). Over a month ago, my dad's company, AAA Homes of MS was selected to be the lead builder for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in Hattiesburg, MS. I am so grateful to the Lord for giving my father this incredible opportunity to help a very deserving family, and gain tons of publicity for his company--he was told his site might crash because it would get so many hits! While at the beach last week, I watched my dad spend countless hours trying to get everything together for this project. One night he responded to emails for five hours! It is an enormous task, and the builder is pretty much responsible for everything we see on TV! It all finally started today with the door knock early this morning! I will be going to Hattiesburg tomorrow to volunteer for the next week so I will keep you posted, and hopefully you will get to see firsthand how the house progresses. Please pray for my dad as he takes on this huge endeavor, and also for the 2,000 volunteers that have come together to help build this home.
