The Cole Chronicles: Lookin' Good

Kyle and I went to the doctor yesterday for our 18 week appointment. We had two ultrasounds at the fertility clinic and two with my dear friend, but this was the first one with our OB. Everything looks great with Baby Cole! The baby weighed nine ounces, and is actually a week ahead in growth. We were so pleased with the results, and it is amazing how much the baby has grown from when we first saw it at 6 weeks and it was just a little dot. Everything is so much more clear now. My sister was asking if I cried, and I surprisingly did not. I actually just watched in shock. I have been pregnant for 18 weeks now, but honestly it still blows me away. This precious life truly is a miracle, and each time I see the baby I am just amazed at this life that our God created. One would think that after a while being pregnant would become so normal, but for me it is still does not seem like a reality because I hoped for it for so long. I know that reality will definitely set in when I am holding this sweet little one in my arms. As for now, I just continue to praise the Lord for the GREAT work He has done!
