Our Nephew Mikias is Coming Home!

About 15 months ago, my sister and her husband began their adoption journey! Three months into the process, the Lord led them to adopt an older child, and that sweet boy is Mikias! Their first court date was May 18, 2009. Mikias did not pass court the first time, and since then they have had five unsuccessful court dates! Many friends and family (including us) have faithfully prayed for months that the Lord would bring home their precious little boy! On Friday, Mikias finally passed court!!! Our hearts are overwhelmed with excitement, and we rejoice in the fact that the Lord is good, and He does indeed hear our prayers. Mikias will be home sometime in February, and we cannot wait to meet our new nephew! My sister created this video to share with all of those who had prayed for his homecoming. I just cannot get enough of his sweet smile, and I am sure you will feel the same! They are also adopting a 20-month old boy, and praying that his paperwork will be complete soon. Please continue to pray for them, their perseverance, and that this boy would also be brought home soon!
