A GRAND Homecoming

Yes, once again I have fallen behind in blogging. If the truth be told, every time I sit down at the computer I am posting items on Ebay. I have become an Ebay addict! Kyle and I cleaned out every closet, drawer, nook, and cranny in our house last week. We found tons of stuff we did not want or no longer use. We began posting these items on Ebay, and I quickly realized the statement "one man's trash is another man's treasure" could not be more true. We have done so well that our sales will completely cover the cost of our trip to visit a friend in D.C., and our anniversary trip to Boston that we are taking in August. How exciting! As you can see, I am a BIG fan of Ebay!

In my last post, I talked about visiting my sister and her family in Louisville. I purposely left out a part of the trip simply because it deserved its own post. While we were in Louisville, Miles, our third nephew, came home from Ethiopia. Kyle and I joined Laura, Molly Kate, Mikias, Madden, and my Mom at the airport, and we welcomed home Kevin and Miles. It was such a joyful experience, and I am so thankful we were able to be a part of his homecoming. Yes, I definitely cried! As we were waiting there were about fifteen to twenty other families that had come to support and welcome home families who had also adopted children from Ethiopia. It was incredibly sweet, and I felt like I had a little glimpse of what heaven will be like as we stand and welcome home those we love.

MILES--well let's just say I am smitten with this little boy! He is absolutely adorable! Kyle and I have decided he should be the poster child for every adoption agency because he is so so stinkin cute! He had been traveling for hours and hours, and even when he got off the plane he was smiling! He has the best smile, and the biggest brown eyes that will just melt your heart! The Lord has certainly blessed me with the most precious niece and nephews!
