"At the Hollywood"

The week before school started, Kyle and I went with a group of friends to The Hollywood Cafe in Tunica. If you have ever listened to Walking in Memphis, you may recall the line "Now Muriel plays the piano every Friday at the Hollywood." In the 1980's, a gospel singer named Muriel did indeed play the piano every Friday night at the Hollywood Cafe. Kyle's grandparents often went to hear Muriel, and every time they walked into the restaurant Muriel would stop and play Dixie just for them. If you are ever near Tunica, make sure you dine at the Hollywood. According to the Travel Channel, the deep-fried pickle was born at the Hollywood. They were definitely the best I have ever had!
