17 WEEKS

Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 17 Weeks
Size of Baby: Baby C is the size of an onion
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 7 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Love them! Got some cute
tops from the family for Christmas.
Gender: Will be telling after January 23rd!
Movement: Hopefully soon! I did find out I have an
anterior placenta, so it may take longer for me to feel
the baby moving.
Sleep: Pretty bad. I hope my new Boppy
pillow will turn things around! Guess
the Lord is just preparing me for the first
few months with Baby Cole.
What I Miss: Energy...I have mentioned this
before, but it really is taking me so much longer
to get things done. My to-dolist is not getting
checked off as fast!
Cravings: Anything salty and spicy! I have become
a big fan of chicken biscuits and sausage biscuits...
probably not the healthiest! :)
Symptoms: Morning Sickness...it is still
there!!! I honestly don't recall a morning when I
did not get sick. I think it has been ten weeks now!
Best Moment of the Week: Lots of fun Christmas
gifts for Baby Cole! Baby Cole is very well loved, or I
guess you could say becoming spoiled!

Every Vote Counts

Since the Cuthbertsons could not be here for the gender revealing, they sent their votes to us! Laura and Kevin were able to join us on skype as we cut the cake. The next morning we skyped the kids and showed them what was left of the cake. It is so fun to see their excitement over Baby Cole!

The Most Wonderful Time of The Year

We had a jammed packed Christmas that lasted about a week and a half! It all began with a visit from my sister and her family. For four days we had 6 adults, 4 kids, and 2 dogs in one house! It was complete craziness, but we loved every minute of it! A few days later, my Mom and Dad came back to Oxford with my Granny for the Gender Reveal and to spend Christmas Eve with us. We woke Christmas morning to a white Christmas, and then headed up to Memphis to have Christmas with Kyle's family! What a Christmas! We thoroughly enjoyed all the time spent with family as we celebrated the birth of our Savior!

The Best Christmas Gift

Kyle and I opened the best Christmas present tonight!!! It is official! We now know the GENDER of Baby Cole!!! Our families came to celebrate with us as we opened our precious gift (cut into the cake)! We had dinner at Old Taylor Grocery which became an eternal wait for our families. I have never seen Kyle's grandmother eat that fast! They were all dying to get home and see what was inside the cake. What is it!?!? I really am having the hardest time not telling, but we are having another party in January when the college students return. For now the guessing will just have to continue, but I must say we are beyond thrilled!! It is quite exciting just to know!!

**I took a ton of pictures from the night, but those will have to be shared later! :)

Oh, What a NIght

My Christmas present came a little early this year, but that was quite alright with me! Kyle surprised me with tickets to Michael Buble in Nashville. I have been dying to see him in concert for a long time, but he always plays up in north. When Kyle noticed he was going to be so close he decided it would be the perfect time to go! We drove up to Nashville on Sunday afternoon. We went to see all the lights at Opryland, ate dinner at Cheesecake Factory (a favorite of mine), and then headed to the concert. We were about ten minutes late, but there was an opening act so we did not miss much. While I was in the restroom, Kyle met a guy that gave us free tickets on the floor. What a treat! We were about 20 rows from the stage, but there was a second stage that he sang 4 songs from and we were only 2 rows from there! One song he sang was Mr. Big's "To Be With You." It was so much fun! I got a little camera happy to say the least! It was such a fun date night, and the perfect little getaway! Thank you dear for an amazing Christmas gift!
